Cailly - french clockmaster active in St-Nicolas d'Aliermont till c. 1835.
Dial: twelve white enamelled cartouches with black Roman numerals for hours and minutes, 31 round cartouches with days of the month. Striking on the gong (which is present).
Dimensions: size of plates - 10,6 x 11,1 cm; depth - c. 8,5 cm. Diameter of the gong - 15,1 cm.
Conditions report: Selling as it is. In need of restoration. It's possible to wind both springs, so none is broken. Strikes when the rest of the minute's hand is moved to 12 or 6 hour. Witout pendulum it works, but for sure needs cleaning. So most probably the movement is complete, but needs some work. Pendulum hanger's lower part is lost. Minute hand's bigger part lost. The movement was not cleaned, not repaired, selling as I've acquired it. You are buying what is presented on pictures.
