ARTIN 1/43 (OEM) Standard FRONT GUIDE PINS Enough for 2 Cars
These Pins will pretty much fit all Artin 1/43 cars, but some of the newer ones have a yellow guide pin, these will not work. But I do sell pins that can be used for the newer Artin cars. thanks in advance, I just want you to get the right parts for your cars.
These will replace your broken pins, in front factory Artin Cars and trucks, not made for Power passers, but can be installed into the power passer chassis'
See last pictures for tuning examples.
First
get a 3/32 drill bit and right over pinion gear drill hole, do not move bit
around to make hole any larger at all, straight in and stop.
(NOTE
IMPORTANT) DO NOT DRILL FAST NICE AND EASY OR YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR GEARS!!!
If your
not good with that then remove body and remove motor before drilling....
Next
See Picture, Trim your guide pin just a bit, this stops it from touching gears.
Your
guide pin should sit firmly into place and stay put.
(NOTE)
if you make hole to big it will let the pin fall out, if this happens because
hole is too large, then use a dab of E6000 glue.
Your
car will handle much better on curves and as long as each car your racing at
the same time has the same, no Advantages over
the other racer at all.
This does stop a lot of the spin outs you have without adding magnets that are very hard to place on these cars.
