·        Antique Dated 1927 Navy Blue Handmade Silk Crepe Flapper Dress 3 pcs and hand written note: "THIS 3 PIECE DRESS WAS HANDMADE BY EDNA WIERS TOWNSEND'S MOTHER, FLORENCE HALL WIERS ( A PREFESSIONAL SEAMTRESS) FOR EDNA TO WEAR WHEN SHE WENT TO PRATT INSITITUTE IN BROOKLYN. SHE WENT THERE FOR HER ART TEACHER'S TRAINING. SHE MET ROCHARD EMORY TWONSEND WHILE AT PRATT(WHOM SHE MARRIED SERVERAL YEARS LATER) (1927)

        1. The sheer chiffon dress with silk ribbons trimmed. It has ribbon trimmed scoop neckline, sheer long sleeve with ribbon as sleeve ties. Natural waistline, wide silk waist ties attached from back upper hip line toward the front and ties as bow. The flair skirt filled with ribbon loop trimmed. It is slip on with snap buttons on left shoulder.

        2. The sleeveless crepe dress has Round neckline, sleeveless. Some curve panel cut on front chest and back, box pleated near hip line. It is slip on.

        3. The dress slip made of Rayon, floral lace trimmed on bustline, ribbon shoulder strap, natural waistline. Closing with eye hooks at the back.

CONDITION: CAME WITH HAND WRITTEN NOTE WITH ITS HISTORY, GOOD/ AS-IS CONDITION, ISSUE:  all 3 dresses has no major damaged, 1. the chiffon dress has silk ribbons cracked, 2. the sleeveless crepe dress has tons of fabric holes and stains on front neck, 3. the dress slip missed sma1l lace on right armpit and minor discoloration,  SEE LAST 5 PIC.
