The Midland G9 is a walkie-talkie designed to be used in the most difficult conditions. It is robust, hard and compact, and allows you to communicate at a much greater range than with standard walkies. Its IPX5 certification guarantees great resistance to water, humidity...

 

IPX5 standard:
The degree of protection against water is classified as IPX5 according to the international standard IEC529. This ensures that when used in high humidity or rainy conditions, moisture does not get inside the instrument body.



This system incorporates three notable features: the emergency function, the out of coverage function and the “Vox TalkBack” function. 



Emergency function:
Pressing the "EMG" key (emergency) will communicate simultaneously to all the G9 and G8 systems that are in coverage, even if they are operating on another channel, to get in touch in case of danger, a fall, a risk situation...


Function out of coverage:
Allows you to check through your G9 if there are other radios in your range.


“Vox Talkback” function:
You will be able to continue communicating even if there is a radio transmitting in Vox, without having to wait for your interlocutor to stop talking. Allows two parties to speak at the same time.
