A very charming collectable vintage music box made of ceramic.

Although there is no label on it, I believe it was made in Japan by Sayko. It has been beautifully and expertly hand painted and features 2 children (a boy and a girl) sitting on a tree stump.The little boy is depicted playing a flute whilst the little girl listens.

The music box rotates after it has been wound up and it plays the traditional tune "Edelweiss".

It measures approximately 16cm tall x 9cm in diameter.

The music box plays very well. Excellent mechanism.

This really is a delightful item and is in excellent condition.
