295 2nd Day Cover canceled in Helena Montana 5-2-1901, many of these post offices didn't get the stamps in time for a 1st day cancel.  And this cancel is from Montana a long way away from the originating Post Offices.  The makers of this were certainly trying to get a 1st day impression.
