Again I have the pleasure of offering another superb Omega wristwatch for sale on ebay, it is a collectable WW2 (1939) pilot’s watch.

Omega have a rich history of association with varies militaries.  The likes of the British military used them in WW2 as accuracy and reliability in these watches was imperative for the Royal Navy and RAF terms to calculate distances and locations etc.

The case measures some 33.5 mm excluding the  winding crown and lugs and is in good condition for its age.  The case back has had its military markings removed as often happened after the war. It would have either been a ‘6B’ or ‘HS8’. The inner of the case back is correctly signed 'Omega' and carries model reference of 10541365.

The movement is the famous caliber 30T2 SC and it runs well keeping good time.  It has a serial number of 9739787 dating the watch to 1939. The all-original example is of course fully signed Omega and has 16 jewels.

The dial has slightly faded over the years as the photography shows.  The hours are printed in black and in Arabic form to compliment the hands including sweep centre seconds.   'Omega' with the famous logo read clearly in black print.

The watch comes on olive colour NATO style strap with steel coloured buckle to match the case.

Please do not miss my array of other vintage watches now for offer here on ebay and thanks for looking.
