The hand-painted roses are realistically executed in stunning detail on a rarely seen ground in shades of gray. The Gold work on this piece is absolutely phenomenal with fine black pen work adding definition to the tiny roses and foliage portrayed within. Truly unique and elegant detail! This Vase is marked on the base with the green CAC palette mark used from the late 1800’s to the early 1900s and signed by the artist, INEZ CHAPPELL 1915 as photographed. There are no chips, cracks or damages of any kind and the exquisite gold work remains in excellent condition.
