Please review all pictures closely for overall condition and size, as this helps form the overall condition/description of the item. Wear is consistent with age and use. Has some red lacquer loss/flaking but most is still attached well, tarnish to brass fittings, one corner fitting above the lock in the front fell off but it was in the box still when we got it, so just needs to be attached again, chips, cracks, scratches, marks, etc. Still very sturdy and very much together. Fittings and latch feel strong, this was very well made. Measures 12.125" wide, 8.5" deep and 9.25" tall, very nice size to it, could be used for many things. It does not have a lock with it. Beautiful incised details of main medallion latch on front, this box has tons of charm and character. An excellent addition to your collection.
