An unusual attractive bug brooch with a colourful enamelled insect set on an iridescent mother of pearl disc.

The brooch fastens with a secure hook clasp closure that's in good order.

Dates to around 1880 - 1900

Approx. 2.9cm diameter.

In good wearable condition with light signs of use - There is a nibble in the blue enamel on the back of the bee, as photographed.
