pre-owned and pre-built Matchbox 1/700 plastic scale model of the Royal Navy WWII Abdiel Class Minelayer H.M.S. Ariadne (M65).  This is NOT a museum quality model but it is nicely built and painted; based on the ship's camouflage scheme in 1943; and has been nicely set off for display on a seascape diorama style base made from re-cycled wood which includes an information card underneath.  The waterline model has been glued to the wooden base but might possibly be carefully removed without to much damage.

The ship's camouflage scheme is different on the port and starboard sides so the wooden base has two gold display plaques (one on each side) so that the model can be displayed on whichever side is preferred.

Please note this is a plastic model which may be susceptible to damage in the post so it would help if the buyer has some modelling experience and is prepared to take care of any minor repairs such as gluing a searchlight back on.  Having said that I will take care to wrap the model up safely and take full responsibility for any serious damage.
