Please review all pictures for overall condition and size, as this helps form the overall condition/description of the item. Wear is consistent with age and use. Has some tarnish/Verdigris from age, marks, scratches, fading to medallions from striking, etc. Wear is visible in pictures. Paifang archway handle has a lean to it, we think also from how it was hung and struck from use, but it is strong and sturdy.

We got this from a family that traveled the world, multiple generations for the military. Has beautiful patina and age. Very nice, beautiful and calming tone to the bell when struck. There's a figure we can't identify/make out, we zoomed in on the 18th photo on it. Measures about 10 3/8" tall and about 7 3/16" wide. A beautiful old bell.
