Beautiful 1945 E.R.Smith map of Lake Tahoe & Vicinity. The artist was George Mathis and map consultant was A.C. Hammon.

The map covers from Lake Aloha on the bottoms, up to Tahoe National and Franktown on top. Offers a detailed overview of the lake and provides the divider from California to the Nevada side along with major roads and highways. The reverse side has the story of the amazing lake tahoe.

The map is in good shape for its age. There is not too many creases or major blemishes. The map does have a very smooth surface, however along the sides there are a few creases and ruffles on the side, and one rip on the upper right side of the map. There are no pin holes or tape marks and do not believe the map was displayed beforehand.

Overall a great and rare map that has vivid color and has been kept out of the sun.
