NOTE: This autograph has not been authenticated. I acquired this autograph when I was growing up between the years roughly 1975 - 1982. I acquired the autograph by writing directly to the player at his home address (there used to be a book called something like The Baseball Players’ Address Book), by writing to the player care of the ball club for active players during those years, or in person at or around Fenway Park. (I acquired some signatures in the players’ parking lot at the ball park and for players on visiting teams at the hotel where they stayed.) Since that time the autographs have been in plastic sheet protectors in loose-leaf binders in smoke-free homes.

I am selling the autograph less than what authenticated autographs cost because it is not officially authenticated, and I am not in the sports memorabilia business. I am just an almost 60-year-old guy who was a big baseball fan and enjoyed getting autographs but who is now downsizing.

If you have any doubts, you can consult PSA Quick Opinion and for a small fee receive a professional opinion (https://www.psacard.com/quickopinion).

If an autograph is purchased and then deemed inauthentic, I will gladly refund the purchase price with the return of the autograph in its original condition and some documentation of the entity that deemed the autograph inauthentic.
