Hi I am selling some of my odd items that I have collected over the years. This pre-loved WW1 Death Penny Plaque is a rare and highly collectable item. Its design commemorates the soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War and is a unique piece of history. Made from metal, this vintage plaque is mounted in a lovely mahogany wood casing.

It features name “Thomas Millar” and the words “He Died for Freedom and Honour ”

Rifleman Thomas Millar of the Royal Irish Rifles was killed during the Somme on 1st July 1916 aged 18. He was the son of James and Sarah Millar of Co. Antrim. In generally good condition.
