Book and slipcase are near fine. Slightest wear to front cloth cover, hardly noticeable. Each etching covered with tissue paper. 18-point American Monotype Janson that Bruce Rogers redesigned for the Limited Editions Club Shakespeare in 1939-1940. Type cast and set at Out of Sorts Letterfoundery. Text printed by Daniel Keleher at Wild Carrot Letterpress on cotton, mould-made, and watermarked Cartiere Enrico Magnani paper. Seven etchings printed by the chine colle method on handmade Japanese paper and mounted onto watermarked Richard de Bas paper from France. Both papers with deckled edges. Printing of the etchings was split between Paul Taylor, Clary Nelson Taylor, Peter Pettengill, and Bob Townsend. Spine and foredge bound in black Nigerian Oasis goatskin, with the boards covered in burgundy Japanese cloth. Binding split between Carol Joyce, Craig Jensen, and Kim O'Donnell. 

Prints are in Fine condition. The black enclosure for the prints has some wear on the covers and bump to corners. This is how it arrived from the Limited Editions Club office. Portfolio of etchings printed in the same manner and on the same paper as the ones in the book. 15.5" x 21.25" sheets. Etchings themselves are 7" x 9.625." Each numbered #8/20 and signed by the artist in pencil.
