This is a leather watch band made by Seiko (formerly Seikosha), which was used by the former Imperial Japanese Army and Navy from the pre-war 1930s to 1943. It features a compass and a star-shaped decoration representing military use.
It is unused dead stock. It seems it was sold only at shops accessible to military personnel at that time. It still has the price tag from the time of sale. There are no noticeable damages, and the leather is relatively soft; applying oil would make it even softer and more durable. The compass functions properly.
It is a valuable dead stock that survived the ravages of war. Would you be interested in this opportunity?
