This is a leather wristband for wristwatches made by Seiko (formerly known as Seikosha), which was used by the former Imperial Japanese Army and Navy from the pre-war 1930s to 1943. It comes with a compass. Although it was military-issue, it seems this model originally did not have star-shaped decorations.

It is unused dead stock and was reportedly sold only at shops accessible to military personnel at that time. It still has the price tag from when it was sold. There are no noticeable damages, and the leather is relatively soft; applying oil would make it even softer and more durable. The compass functions properly.

This is a rare dead stock item that survived the war. Would you be interested in seizing this opportunity?
