Please review all pictures closely for overall condition and size, as this forms the overall condition/description of the item. Wear is consistent with age and use. Has some wear to the pages, some are brittle and fragile. We attempted to take some of the postcards out to check dates but we only were able to take a few out and put back in. The paper they go into is fragile in areas. You can see the condition clearly in the photos. The cards themselves look to be in very good condition for the most part, having been kept in the album for quite some time. Seems like they've possbly been taken out at different points over the years and enjoyed, could explain some of the wear to the slots they fit into.

Some of the cards are not sent or marked on the back, some we can see old stamps on and look to have been sent. The vast majority date from 1900 to 1920's but we found a couple that are 1930s. There is some real photo postcards, a lot of Christmas ones, a nice Thanksgiving one, a lot of Easter, New Years and Birthday ones. There is a lot from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and a lot from Boston landmarks early 1900s, a nice old Wonderland Amusement Park Card. There is 1 or 2 smaller cards that look to be just greeting cards, not post cards but still pretty old. It is a great collection we got from a family friend, who's mother hung on to everything. The album itself is beautiful and made in Germany. Most of the pages are full, there are only a few that are not. We tried to picture most of the postcards in the collection but it is difficult with being allowed only 24 photos on a listing. So if there's anything you'd like a closer picture of, just let us know. Be sure to take a good look at all of the photos.
