Goebel Vase - Made For Steiff Teddy Bears

Unusual vase featuring Steiff Teddy Bears

I have contacted both Steiff and Goebel for possible ID

Steiff have no records and suggested it was an advertising piece

Goebel were more helpful and as it has no registration number on the base

suggested that it was probably a commissioned piece for advertising or presentation

The vase is stamped W Germany on the base 

which places it's manufacture to between 1946 and 1990.

By it's style and decoration I would see it more to 1950s/60s

The vase is in overall good condition, though the glaze is crazed all over

There are a few small losses in the transfer prints 

but nothing that is detrimental to the look of the vase

Measures Approx : 10.25" high x 4.5" at widest x 2" deep
