Fed a Diet of high quality guppy foods and variety of other pellet and flake foods. These fish are not picky eaters but do need a good diet for optimal health.

A small piece of guppy grass is included in the bag with the fish (CA residents excluded).  Plant this in your tank and watch it grow!  These fish love it. They do best if kept in tanks with clean water and live plants to give them hiding places and give the fry a better chance at survival.  Unlike guppies its rare for them to eat their own young.  Some of them are determinedly suicidal jumpers, so a cover on the tank is a must.

Guarantee: Live arrival is guaranteed!  In the unfortunate and rare event of any DOA fish pictures of the fish in the bag unopened within 2 hours of the delivery time (noted in the tracking number) of the package.  Please be home to receive your fish and acclimate ASAP to their new home.  It is the customers responsibility to keep watch of the tracking number.

Information: Endler guppies, or Endler livebearers, are a sub species of the guppy fish that are most often found in South American streams and pools.  Endler’s are most often found in more stagnant waters, compared to other guppies who prefer faster waters. Endler's were named after John Endler, a Canadian biologist who re-discovered these fish in 1975 which at that time were considered to be extinct.

Endler livebearers are very hardy and undemanding in the aquarium.  They prefer hard, warm water, but they will do very well in soft water as well. The warmer the water, the faster they will grow:  27 °C (75-81 °F). This is slightly higher than their guppy cousins, which prefer 23–25 °C (73-77 °F).

Shipping: The shipping Box will be insulated, well packaged and heat packs or ice packs will be included as needed for the survival of your new fish during shipment.  Currently we ship Monday, Tuesday, sometimes on Wednesday and Saturdays.  The largest risk in shipment is the fish being left in a mailbox upon delivery.
