VERCERAM Vase in iridescent ceramic in petroleum blue color Vintage 50s/60s

This vase is in iridescent petroleum blue and white earthenware. A hallmark allows the brand to be identified: a V in an oval where MADE IN FRANCE is written (under the base).

Each model has its 4-digit number here the number 6202, a model of rare purity and great creativity. It can be dated to the period from 1955 to 1971.

VERCERAM is a brand that appeared in the 1930s and was bought in 1971. It supplied the liner FRANCE with ashtrays. VERCERAM manufactured vases, lamps, bowls, boxes, etc. for specialty stores. All these ranges were of high manufacturing quality, with on the one hand color juxtapositions which required precise work by hand, with a spray bottle, drying times between the different layers, subtle brushing, and on the other hand share of enamels with a glossy appearance, which required a greater number of firings than average, and a dust-free workshop to avoid the slightest pollution by impurity. The artist who designed all these models at VERCERAM was Mr. CAUX.

Designer luminaire in excellent condition, no chips or cracks (see photos), numbered copy under the base.

Tested and functional, original electrification. Excellent condition for this functional lamp which will give a warm atmosphere to your home.
