We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT.. GIBSON FLYING V - "THE VEE" Super rare 1982 model complete with original Gibson case. A true 'road warrior' this guitar absolutely screams 'mojo' from all directions It plays incredible, sounds incredible and asides from the 'metal surrounds and cap etc' (all fitted back in the early 80s) the guitar is as it is. Some wear and rub on the neck, a few rub and light buckle marks on the back and edging as you'd expect but that just adds to the class of this extremely collectable model. The frets are superb, plenty of life left, the 'micro tuner' bridge/tailpiece is snazzy too (Gibson only did these for a short while) and trust me, this guitar plays as good as you will ever find. Classic quality Gibson finish from a by gone era! The Flame top finish is just divine, aged slightly darker but rich in colours- Some folk pay a ransom to have new guitars made to 'relic' like this! This guitar as you know is soaring in value, so here's a chance to get one- when was the last time you saw a genuine flame top Vee on ebay for sale?!! SOME STATS: They only made this model in 1981-84 as an upgraded version of the Gibson Flying V with bound curly maple top and 3-piece flamed maple neck and two powerfull Gibson "Dirty Finger" double-white pickups with strong outputs of 15,45K and 15,89K. The guitar is nice lightweight and and the medium-siced c-shaped neck is very comfortable to play.
