My friend and EFO Guru, Jim Hotchner, first explained the term "flyspec collector" as someone who pours over hundreds of stamps to find (many times unique) production quirks. This is a fascinating group to explain this inexpensive collecting technique and makes an interesting display 

with a nice variety of examples.
