In fair condition. Rubbing and wear to exterior of vellum with handwritten title on spine. Spitting to both front and rear hinges and looseness of the first several text pages. Light inscriptions and marginalia. Occasional rubbing and staining to pages. Handwritten scraps of wastepaper in revealed binding. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
A scarce religious piece in French that compared the differences in lifestyle, faith, and customs of Jews and Christians. This comprised part of Fleury’s large ecclesiastical history published over the next three decades. A wonderful piece for restoration.
