"JVC JAZZ MASTERPIECE SA-CD HYBRID SELECTION"

The MADE IN JAPAN masterpieces produced by Victor from the 70s and 80s have been newly mastered from the original masters and made into the world's first SA-CD HYBRID!

A reprint project 40 years after Art Pepper's death, 4CD multi-plastic case specification, limited to 1000 sets.

Art Pepper (born September 1, 1925 - died June 15, 1982), was a famous alto saxophonist who was famous on the West Coast of the United States.

This work is a recording of the third performance in Japan held at Tokyo Postal Savings Hall in July 1979 and was originally titled "Landscape" (6 songs) and "Besame Mucho" (5 songs). The two live discs released in 1979 and 1981 respectively are recorded as complete recordings of the first and second sets of the 16th on Discs 1 & 2 and the 23rd on Discs 3 & 4, totaling 22 discs. A CD set (Japanese special edition) that was released in 2007 as a 4-disc set.

The members are George Cables on piano, Tony Dumas on bass, and the most notable member is Billy Higgins, a master drummer.

A moving two-day documentary that brings back the famous performance that captivated audiences three years before the legend, who first came to Japan in 1977 and was extremely popular in Japan, and the atmosphere of the time.
