All parts are cleaned, inspected and fully described in the listings. Sometimes items with internal bearings such as pedals or hubs may need a service if we haven’t got around to doing this before listing, but we will always reflect this information, and make it clear in the listing. 

We aim to offer a bicycle part that is ready to fit and enjoy, so frequently, disassemble, clean, re-grease and reassemble, to make sure everything is in full working order.

Most complete bikes are checked over and given a service if required. Some bikes will be sold requiring work to make them ridable, but any issues will be listed so you, can assess your purchase and the project you are taking on. 

Please be aware that any bicycles that are being posted to you will need some reassembly once they have arrived. This will include reattaching pedals, the stem and handlebars, the seat post and saddle, both wheels, mudguards if applicable and on occasion the rear mech and/or front brake caliper. We have been selling bikes on eBay for over 10 years and only recently did a buyer fail to realise this was the case after taking delivery, so I am putting this in writing so as so avoid any issues in the future. The reassembly is quite easy requiring no mechanical knowledge, just the ability to tighten a spanner or hex key, but we are always on hand to help if needed.
