Male Kula, is the second-largest island in the nation of Vanuatu, in the Pacific Ocean region of Melanesia.
This is a original engraving  from the time as listed, not a later 1800 edition.

Origin one of the first editions of : Voyage das L’Hemisphere Austral, et autour du Monde,
