My first attempt at repairing an N gauge loco mainly driven by the lack of Dapol spares.

This is the dummy car from one of the earlier book sets and uses a 6 pin decoder (included).

Lighting pcb failed so endeavoured to rebuild using micro LEDs, fibre optics etc.

Had to create space inside so chassis reduced inside to fit a dcc caddy. Resulted in bogies no longer fitting thus the adaption with tubing.

Would suit a more advanced modeller as a project. But in essence I guess it does what it’s supposed to do. Lights remain steady and it doesn’t de rail!
