Exquisite silver-plated I believe cedar-lined box.

This box, likely made for tobacco, features beautiful Dutch Colonial scenes. Remarkable!

Beautiful craftsmanship on this Cedar lined box. All four sides depict beautiful Dutch Colonial scenes as well. The lid and all four sides also have lovely scrolling work.

As the box is cedar-lined it leads me to believe it may have been used for snuff, tobacco, or other such products. This box was made in Japan, so it's possible it may have been used for opium.

Not sure of exact age, research leads me to early 1900s which would make it antique... however, it could be newer than that.  Vintage for sure.
