Antique Hand Embroidered Framed Cottage Cross Stitch Piece
- framed piece measures 5 3/4" x 7 3/4"
- good antique condition
- cross stitch is well done, all stitches have been completed
- frame shows some age
- piece was resecured in place, rather crudely, by glazier points and scotch tape---obviously this was done well after piece was completed
Nice piece of the past that was discovered in an old farmhouse in Gorham NY. It was probably done by the mother or one of her daughters.
