Die Debugging Station wurde nur an Entwickler und Spieletester verkauft und war im normalen Handel nicht erhältlich. Die Konsole hat von Werk aus keinen Kopierschutz sowie keine Regionsbeschränkungen. Man kann damit alle PS1-Spiele abspielen.
Technisch:
Die Konsole startet und läd wie sie soll. Aufgrund der Bauweise der ersten PS1 Generation und des Alters kann es bei manchen Spielen zu Audio-Aussetzern oder Rucklern bei Videosequenzen kommen. Von diesen Problem sind grundsätzlich alle PS1-Konsolen der ersten Generation betroffen. Sie sind mir bei diesem Gerät nicht aufgefallen. Das bedeutet aber nicht, das dies nicht passieren kann.
Optisch:
Sehr guter Allgemeinzustand mit geringen Gebrauchspuren und wenig Kratzern.
Das Gerätekabel ist mit Heisskleber in der Buchse fixiert. Wohl damit man nicht ausversehen mit europäischem Stromkabel mehr als die benötigten 100V verwendet. (Es wird ein Spannungswandler für die Konsole benötigt.) Ich habe nicht versucht dieses Kabel zu lösen. Wer das rückgängig machen möchte findet Anleitungen zum Heisskleberentfernen im Netz.

The Debugging Station was only sold to developers and game testers and was not available in normal shops. The console has no copy protection and no region restrictions. It can be used to play all PS1 games.
Technically:
The console starts and loads normal. Due to the design of the first generation PS1 and its age, some games may experience audio dropouts or stuttering during video sequences. All first-generation PS1 consoles are affected by this problem. I have not noticed it with this device. However, this does not mean that this cannot happen.
Optical:
Very good general condition with minor signs of use and only few scratches.
The power cable is fixed in the socket with hot glue. Probably so that you don't accidentally use more than the required 100V with a European power cable. (A voltage converter is required for the console.) I have not tried to disconnect this cable. If you want to undo this, you can find instructions for removing hot glue on the net.
