This adorable doll is a vintage Horsman Baby Precious doll, which was made in the late 1930s, making her approximately 84 years old at the time of this writing.

She measures approximately 22 inches tall and is marked “A Horsman Doll” on the back of her neck.  She has a composition flange head, ¾ composition arms and legs, and a cloth torso.  She has molded wavy painted dark brown hair, beautiful blue flirty sleep eyes with real eyelashes on the top painted eyelashes on the bottom (left eye is a little lazy and is missing some of the eyelashes), a little button nose, rosy cheeks, and an open mouth with red lips and two upper teeth and felt tongue showing.  She also has a crier box, but it does not work.

She is in fairly good condition for her age.  Her body was repainted to stabilize her.  However, she has a minor compo peel/crack on the top of her head, crazing on her face and legs, a small crack under her bottom lip, missing composition on her middle finger of her left hand, as well as a linear crack on the back of her left leg, all of which needs to be repaired.  She also has some stains on her cloth.

She comes wearing a vintage white short-sleeve dress adorned with pin-tucks, lace, and embroidery at the bodice, a white crochet bonnet with rosettes and pink ribbon ties, a white slip, white bloomers, white lacy socks, and pink/white side pearl button knit booties to complete her outfit.
