The Squale Super-Squale SUPERSSBK.AC is presented in a 38mm case that is made from circular brushed 316L stainless steel, which is a material that is commonly used in dive watches due to it being extremely resistant to corrosion from elements such as seawater. A circular brushed stainless steel 120-click rotating bezel sits on top of the case, it exhibits a 60-minute count up scale that can be used to measure elapsed time underwater. It also features a screw-down crown that is located at the 3 o’clock position. The anti-reflective treated double-domed sapphire crystal glass provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering.
The dial is presented in black with a sunburst finish, showcasing a highly legible design. It features a combination of highly luminous Superluminova Old Radium circular and baton-style hour markers that absorb and store light energy, subsequently emitting it as a glow in even the darkest depths of the ocean. The hour markers are encircled by a 60-minute track that is presented through thin white baton-style minute markers. The silver-framed baton-style handset is also coated in Superluminova Old Radium. The Squale shark logo, synonymous for reliable dive watches, can be found at the 6 o’clock position.
The watch is presented on a mesh/Milanese stainless steel bracelet that has been treated to a combination of brushed/polished finishes. It fastens through the use of a deployment clasp.
This watch is powered by a COSC certified Swiss-made Sellita SW 200-1 movement that has a power reserve of 38 hours and operates at an accuracy of +/- 20 seconds per day. The watch is water resistant to 200 metres, meaning it is suitable to be used for diving.
