 very simple to use -- took me less than 2 minutes to do this 1 wheel.   Wheel shown is 1-7/8" diameter . Also shown is how it looks as a 2"   3"  & 4" .  Would easily work for even larger wheels   Tire rope shown on ruler is BLACK.  The way it works is you cut the rope with a slight bevel (equal spot on each side so that the ribs line up when pressed together ON A CURVE. What holds the ends together is a stiff, bent nail or wire. I prefer a small 7/8 to 1 inch galvanized nail bent on a curve to match wheel curve (the galvanized adds some roughage to hold the pieces together).  I use nails that are only slightly larger than rope hole, so that it grabs, but doesn't increase the tire diameter. You could even drill the tire out if your nail is too thick. You should also add some sort of adhesive/glue.  For these PICTURES  I didn't use glue so you could see the joint.  When glued , put pressure to ensure a tight fit. Possibly super glue or if using a slower drying material, try duct taping until dried.
