Selling my MPC 60 in excellent condition in a padded case with dust cover.

Features/Modifications/Upgrades:

Vimana OS 3.15 installed. Gives it much more functionality, akin to an MPC3000.

ZULUSCSI Kit installed and working, includes 64g SD card with preloaded samples.

-The Zuluscsi kit I installed did not fit into the chassis the way I had hoped. The card reader is inset approx. 4-5mm from the front of the MPC chassis. Does not affect functionality and could be remedied with some minor modification the the plastic cradle that holds the ZuluSCSI board.

New pad sensors from MPCstuff.

Max RAM.

Screen replaced last year with a nice bright backlit one.

I rebuilt/replaced most of the 1/4" outputs last year. Also replaced all of the MIDI jacks.

Replaced the stock power cord with an IEC plug. (If you are like me you hate having hardwired power cords! See pics. I did it in such a way that I did not have to cut a hole in the chassis.)

Includes Marion SCSI board.

Includes 3.1 OS EPROM chips (Old operating system)

NOTE:

Flaw/Quirk about this unit:

The internal metronome does not work unless there is a cable plugged into the metronome out jack. As soon as there is a cable plugged in there; (it does not have to be plugged into anything on the other end) the internal metronome will start working. Its definitely a little annoying but the workaround was so simple I have never bothered to try and fix it.

Sometimes the screen will fade out for a second then come back. You need to flip it down and back up and the display comes right back. Could be fixed but it's a little beyond me.

Please contact me with any questions! Happy to converse with you about any details or questions you have. I am the second owner.

Would prefer to sell locally in NYC.
