Stunning nude study "Pandora" 1919 by Yvonne Park (nee Gregory)  1889-1970. This is a high quality print from a vintage copy of Photograms of the Year 1919.

Yvonne Gregory was born in Harlesden in North London in 1889 the daughter of Henry a builder and decorator, and Emily Gregory. She spent her early childhood in Hampstead and in 1911 age 22 she is described as a "fashion artist" as is her sister Effie. Around 1914 she became assistant to photographer Bertram Park marrying him in 1916 in Hampstead, the same year her first photo credit appears on a published work. Along with Marcus Adams they were known as the "Three photographers" the three studios at 43 Dover st had one communal works though each had its own individual technicians who used the same processing facilities. In 1919 she is also referred to as a "well known miniature painter". As well as collaborating with Park, Yvonne became his principal model as well as a portrait, fashion and advertising photographer in her own right. She exhibited at the Royal Photographic Society from 1926 and became a fellow of the RPS in 1928, holding a solo exhibition of her prints at Russell Square in May 1929. Park and Gregory were known for their publicity stills for theatrical productions. In They also collaborated on book projects primarily featuring the female nude. Yvonne is listed as "an artist' in 1940 at their Dover St studio and her photographic work extends into the 1950's. In later years they lived in Ruislip, Yvonne dying in 1970 and Bertram in 1972.
