Hello to all of my valued customers and potential customers!
On consignment with us today is a pre-owned and extremely stunning Dredd (2012) mostly complete and mostly screen accurate cosplay costume! This is not your average "Spirit of..." costume, this is produced from extremely durable and close to screen accurate materials to give you the authentic look of a true Mega-City Judge as seen in the 2012 cult-classic film!
Turn some heads and feel like a celebrity at your local entertainment expo! People sometimes spend months putting together their Dredd outfit, but in one purchase today, you can take care of almost all of the difficult/major parts of it instantly.
This ensemble was worn in about a half dozen conventions in Alberta, Canada with the costume and its owner even meeting Dredd himself (Karl Urban). The reason that it has gone up for sale is that the owner of the set retired it from use since he no longer does cosplay. It once featured special paint customizations as he was going for a "Canadian Department of Justice" look, though only remnants of those touches remain on the costume now. The battle-worn look remains on the vest as it exhibits intentional wear and tear to highlight the intensity of a day in the life of a Mega-City Judge.
Imagine how amazing it could look on a display mannequin at home in your movie room, or perhaps you may wish to continue its story as you might choose to wear it in a convention "patrol" yourself? That is up to you!
NOTE 1: The ensemble will NOT be separated, it is an all-or-nothing sale.
NOTE 2: No returns/refunds will be considered or accepted after the purchase of this item, except in the off-chance where the item does not arrive. What is included:
(1x) Judge Dredd Helmet, original Igor Pinsky lid from 2014 (see measurements in photo). This prop maker no longer makes Dredd helmets so to get one of his works would typically cost ~$500-$700 USD.
(1x) LeatherNext Judge Dredd Leather Jacket with elbow pads (pads are flexible rubber) and rear padding attached (Size L). To purchase brand new, it would cost ~$350 USD nowadays and LeatherNext, to our knowledge, no longer stitches in the elbow pads as they are on this one.
(1x) LeatherNext Judge Dredd Leather Pants with knee pads (pads are flexible rubber) attached (Size L). To purchase brand new, it would cost ~$285 USD nowadays and LeatherNext, to our knowledge, no longer stitches in the knee pads as they are on this one.
(1x) LeatherNext Judge Dredd Vest with neckroll, modified to appear battle-worn (Size L). Armor plating is made of hardened plastic. To purchase brand new, it would cost ~$400 USD nowadays.
(1x) Pair of LeatherNext Judge Dredd Leather Gloves with reinforced knuckles, (Size L). To purchase brand new, it would cost ~$100 USD nowadays.
(1x) Pair of leather motorcycle boots affixed with Dredd shinguards (plastic), heel caps (rubber), and toe caps (rubber) to be close to screen accurate, (Size 44 which is UK 10, US 11).
(1x) Screen accurate Judge medical pouch that folds out via hinge, no props included
(1x) Hall of Justice embossed tote pouch that can be attached to a belt on the Dredd vest. Helpful for conventions as small items like wallets and keys can be kept inside of it.
(3x) Various screen accurate weapons pouches
(1x) Zip cuffs with belt keeper
(2x) Prop mag-holders
(1x) Lawgiver holster (damaged, will need some TLC to repair)
(1x) Judge Dredd belt buckle (metal).

***The owner of this costume is ~6 feet tall and 81KG, and the size large LeatherNext pants and jacket are a fairly tight and snug fit. The sizing chart for LeatherNext pants and jackets can be found here, so make sure it is right for you before purchasing:

What is not included:
-Judge badge (the consignor had a custom badge with his own name on it that he is keeping)
-Prop weapons including the lawgiver and the items that would go with the various weapon pouches.
-Leather belt
Additional Information:
-If going for the movie accurate look in terms of color, the knee pads, elbow pads, and boot toe-caps will need to be repainted to green. Easy to do as the red paint used for the custom look was latex based and mostly stripped off before being consigned to our company.
-Some minor modifications were made to the vest (ie velcro added), so that is easier to fasten up while wearing it.
-Some velcro was added to the jacket as it once had a "tourniquet" prop with it for dramatic effect to fit the battle damaged look. The velcro is still there and the future owner may choose to either remove it, or do something fun with it. The possibilities are endless.
-Padding and the fabric inside of the helmet will likely need to be redone.
-If the new owner is wearing it, it is recommended to give the pants and jacket a cleaning before wearing them for long events.
Now, onto the stuff we don't enjoy as much, even though they are very important to us all, my conditions of sale:
(1) I require payments within 5 business days, unless you let me know beforehand. Communication is key! All prices reflect the condition of the items.
(2) If you have less than 50 buying feedback please contact me before buying the item.
(3) Due to extreme delays and increasing numbers of difficult transactions internationally, we will only mail items within North America (Canada and the USA only). The only exception we will make for an international buyer is if they have a Get It Shipped account.
(4) If you have a history of leaving sellers negative feedback for trivial reasons, please do not make the purchase, as I do not want a negative feedback for trivial things that can easily be solved by respectful communication. I also maintain documentation of all of my mailing runs, so if your plan is to buy an item card, sign for a package, attempt to reclaim your money, and keep a rare item for free, please move on. On my end, I provide feedback after the item arrives to the buyer as our business together only concludes after the item arrives.
(5) I will answer any reasonable questions that you may have regarding the item, though there is a high likelihood that I may not respond to questions such as "what's your lowest price/can you do XX dollars on this/etc.". Communication and excellent service, otherwise, is what I believe in. I do my best to respond as quick as possible, but I may be away at a certain time so please be patient. Rude and/or pushy members will not be tolerated and will be ignored/blocked.
(6) I understand that sometimes we would like to see additional pictures of every possible angle of an item, however, due to the volume of business that I deal with both on eBay, as well as on my business site, I will not be able to facilitate the taking of additional photographs for this item. I do my best to describe the condition of any of my items as accurately as possible, and have established myself as a reputable dealer, seller, and business over many years. I sometimes do not spot everything, but if something I miss is serious enough, once again, respectful communication goes a long way.
(7) Due to the size and mass of this costume, it will be mailed in a large box and as we are not a large organization with a courier deal like Amazon, the cost will be $74.99 to ship this anywhere within North America. If the actual price ends up being less, the difference will be refunded to the buyer. If it is more, we will cover that difference ourselves.
(8) Our usual turnaround time is 2 BUSINESS days, however, due to the size of this item and the work that will go into securely packaging its components, we will mail within 5 BUSINESS days after purchase and payment. We ONLY ship on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The cut-off time to make it into a shipping load on one of these two days is 0500MST (which is 5AM). If for whatever reason, I am unable to ship on one of those scheduled days (ie Stat Holiday), you will be informed.
(9) Be a reasonable buyer and remember that mutual respect goes a long way in making for a positive experience! Treat any seller as you would another person in real life or how you yourself would like to be treated in real life. Understand that the eBay estimate for delivery is just that, an estimate, and not holy scripture. Delivery times within Canada usually take 2-4 weeks outside of my originating province and can take up to 3-5 weeks outside of Canada. The moment the "eBay estimate" goes a day over is not the moment to start filing claims against the seller (in fact you have 30 days after the last eBay estimated day to file a claim). Be respectful and message me about any concerns prior to taking drastic steps after a single business week has passed! Members who are abusive or rude will also be blocked from all future listings.
Hopefully these reasonable conditions did not scare you off. If you are in the majority of buyers, many of these would not even apply to you, this is for the minority of members which cause the problems.
