Exquisite, antique, porcelain, Pickard hand painted soft vellum vase by Edward Challinor. Signed on the front of the vase, Challinor was one of the most famous Pickard artists. Pickard hallmark on the bottom denotes time period 1912-1918. (There is a partial handwritten sticker on the bottom which appears to state "wedding 9/?/14).
Stunning ethereal colors as seen with vellum vases depicting trees by water and perhaps bluebonnets in the foreground. Measures 11" tall x 5 1/2" at shoulder of vase with gold double handles and rim. Interior is clean white porcelain.
Immaculate condition, no chips, nicks, cracks, repairs, gilt loss or scuffing. A true Pickard collectors dream.
