The design is firmly based on a classic German camera Zeiss Contax III. Kiev 4M is a fully manual camera but simple for usage. The camera comes with standard Jupiter (Юпитер) 50 mm f/2 lens. Condition This camera is used but is in excellent over-all condition for its age. The shutter works well with all speeds, including B. Loading, transport and rewind are without problems. The viewfinder is clean and the rangefinder works perfectly. Metering is working but is hard to say how correct is. The self timer works too. Inside the camera is clean. The back-cover fits and locks well. No light-leaking. The appearance of the camera is close yo excellent. The signs of wear are negligible. All markers are clear. The lens is fully working, with glass elements free fungus or haze. Therre are some dust micro-particles inside but they don't affect the image quality anyway. The aperture works normally and the blades are not over-oiled. Focusing ring moves smoothly thorought the range. The lens is in very good cosmetic condition.
