RARE BMW Isetta & Camping Trailer Ltd. Dealer Edition 1:18 - Excellent Condition!

This is a rare Revell made Isetta 250 and camping trailer set. Revell sold this car and trailer combo set in different colors using its own brand name and packaging. This limited edition two tone blue version was also made by Revell but for BMW exclusively for sale only at BMW dealers. The packaging/box was completely re-designed using BMW branding (without any mention of Revell). The box has a BMW inventory number 80 43 9 411 770. This set has been long discontinued.

The Isetta is a zinc diecast model with an opening front door and engine cover (see instruction sheet). The sunroof is molded plastic and set partly open. There is a yellow suitcase on the back that does open. The camping trailer is all plastic with nice detail. The rear door opens. The trailer can be attached to the Isetta's "towing hitch". The car and trailer are both held in place on the "display platform" via plastic mounts underneath that are screwed in from below. The plastic mounts and screws secure the car and trailer from moving while in the box. 

I purchased this new from a BMW dealer in the early 2000's. It is in lexcellent condition, Unlike brand new the plastic wraps that were originally on the car and trailer are gone.

I put the car and trailer out for display for a year or so and then put them back in the box until taking these pictures today. The box had been stored on a closet shelf in my smoke free home for all these years, The box is in excellent condition except for a slight crush on one corner of the box, and a few wear marks on one side.
