Description:  You are bidding on an absolutely beautiful white porcelain lighthouse shaped coffee or tea pot.  You can see that the body was hand thrown with turning wheel lines.  The sides have a wonderful colorful painted floral basket (gold highlighting) with a straight line spout and a wonderful handle that consists of two interlocking strands with a floral textured connection to the pot.  The matching lid has an unusual strap handle.  The details on this piece lead me to believe that this could possibly be an English rendition of an 18th Chinese Export piece made during the same time period.  The original owner has placed a sticker that reads ‘Lowestoft c 1754-1802.’  This piece was obtained from a local South Carolina estate.
