InterCity Hobbies and Trains is a new model railroad specialty store in the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada region. When Central Hobbies in Vancouver closed after 30 years due to retirement, two passionate life-long model railroaders took over the inventory and operations to build an exciting new store serving model railroaders in Vancouver and around the world. We feature extensive lines of both North American and European model railroads in our store. Please stop by and visit if you are in the area!.
Shipping
We ship from our retail store location in Langley, BC via Canada Post tracked and insured parcels. We ship Tuesday-Friday and occasionally on Mondays. Customers in the USA will have their packages delivered through the USPS. Our shipping rates are automatically calculated by eBay based on your location.
Combined Shipping:
We are happy to combine your items to save up to 75% on shipping costs! Please use the eBay shopping cart to collect your items and then click on "Request Total" on the eBay shopping cart page. Our staff will send you a revised payment link as soon as possible. If for any reason the 'request total' link does not appear in your cart, please submit with the order with payment to reserve the items you want and we will refund any extra shipping paid when we ship your order. Items will NOT be reserved for you unless you click the 'request total' link or submit your order. Please do not use "buy it now" for items you would like to combine shipping as eBay does not allow us to update the orders (please contact us in this case).
Customer Service & Returns
It is our priority to ensure you are happy with your order! Please contact us via the 'Contact Seller' link if you have any issues with your purchase from us. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on new, unused & unopened products. We accept returns on 2nd hand products provided the item is returned in the same condition as it was delivered. You are responsible for return shipping in these cases (tracked and insured). If a new product is returned used we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee depending on the condition of the product when returned. If your product arrives damaged or is not as described, please contact us immediately before starting an eBay return as our staff can often help resolve the issue for you. If the parcel/packaging is damaged in shipping please take photographs of the condition in which it arrived as soon as possible. In these cases eBay or our staff will provide a return shipping label for you if necessary.
