1960 Gibson ES-175 Project Husk

This ES-175 surrendered it’s pickups and harness a while ago. It has a solid pro headstock repair. It is in great condition otherwise and a great way to get into a classic jazz box on a budget.

This guitar features the rare Kolb tuners which were rebranded from Epiphone by Gibson. They are stock to this instrument.

Orange label is intact and features the FON number in place of a regular serial number. Both the FON stamp and label are marked R6578-16.

Rubber switch grommet is intact. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard has original frets. Original rosewood bridge base is included, as is the original pickguard and mounting hardware. There is a replacement plastic jackplate as well. The original hardshell case in excellent condition is included. The original tailpiece is long gone so you will have to source a replacement.

Non original replacement parts included are as follows:

2x Gibson PAF Reissue pickups with generic black mounting rings. I do not know the specific model of these pickups. They read out at 7.88 and 7.92.

New ABR-1 style Tuneomatic bridge with metal saddles.

New truss rod cover with mounting screws.

New strap buttons and screws.

New aged knob pointers.

New generic gold top hat knobs set of four.

New custom ordered RS Guitarworks Vintage wiring harness complete and new in the box.
