1791 GERMAN PEWTER TANKARD WRIGGLE WORK DECORATION MAN & WOMAN

 

Period: 1791.

Materials: Pewter.

Dimensions: 226mm tall x 160mm long x 135mm wide.

Hallmarks: C.H.M arm and scales makers touch mark.

Condition: A few minor dings, dents and surface scratching. Overall good. Wear commensurate with age and use.

Notes: An interesting 18th century German tankard engraved with wriggle work decoration, depicting a man and woman holding hands. The cover is engraved with the initials "A.H.M" and dated 1791.
