because 

you now get the complete wooden casing that came with the Limited Edition ( NOT shown, and does NOT come with circuit boards )
so you could wire up some lighting and use it for a TOPPER for your EBD
you could even link up deluxe lighting to the original backglass lighting.
it would look awesome as a TOPPER.

the condition of the glass is near perfect, and when backlit looks perfect
