Villeroy Boch Tall Coffee Pot, 1960s, featuring etchings of Amsterdam canals and city sights by H E Roodenburg.  

H E Roodenburg (1895-1987) was a popular and well known Dutch Graphic Artist who became known for his cityscapes of Amsterdam , Rotterdam , Gorinchem and Utrecht. 

In the 1960s Villeroy and Boch released a large breakfast service featuring Roodenburg's black-and-white etchings of Amsterdam cityscapes and buildings known as 'Het Grachtenservies' ('The Canals of Amsterdam') 

This coffee pot is approx 20cm tall (plus an extra 3cm for the lid - 23cm), Width at base 10cm, width including spout and handle 19cm. A very streamlined and elegant form as all the shapes are from this series, and typically 1960s in design. 

Holds 1000ml (one litre) of liquid.

No damage or noticeable wear.....clean and bright with no stains or marks
