A very pretty vintage 1950’s pale turquoise blue lace evening/bridesmaid dress. The dress has pale blue acetate ribbon trim to the bodice with little acetate bows at the back and two long acetate tails falling down the length of the skirt. The dress has a very full circle skirt which could take a hooped petticoat. The dress is lined with an acetate lining and an inner lawn lining and fastens at the side with an inset zip. This would make a great theatrical/stage dress. Please note the photos make the dress look faded in places but it isn’t - it is a light shade of turquoise bordering on duck egg blue. The dress has been cleaned and is ready to wear.

Condition

The dress is in good vintage condition for a dress of this age. There are a couple of small marks - one on the front of the dress skirt and one on the ribbon - see photos

There is a repair to the lace on the skirt - see photo and three holes in the lace near the hem - see photos.

There may be one or two other minor marks that I have missed.
