This is a single-signed baseball of Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax. It was authenticated by PSA/DNA and the autograph was given a grade of Mint 9 on their 1-10 scale. The PSA/DNA Certification Number is AO02411. The signature is in blue ink. There is slight discoloration on the ball, please see the photographs.

The baseball is a Rawlings Official National League ball, A. Bartlett Giamatti, President. Mr. Giamatti served in that capacity from June 10th, 1986, to April 1st, 1989, at which time he became the Commissioner of Baseball.
Mr. Koufax pitched for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1955 to 1966. He won three Cy Young Awards, the first player to do so, he was the NL MVP in 1963, a two-time World Series MVP, threw four no-hitters and a perfect game, and was a member of four World Series Championship teams. He was the youngest player ever elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame when in 1972 he was voted in on the first ballot at the age of 36.
