This beautiful Antique Clichy glass paperweight features a stunning concentric Millefiori design, including 2 Rose & 1 Moss Canes. There is a pad made of rods of twisted filigree side by side visible from the bottom, and 37 well centered canes are set on top of a dense layer of upset muslin. Originating from France in the 1840s-50s, It measures about 3 1/4" wide and about 2 1/2" tall.

Crafted with high-quality glass, this paperweight is an early handmade original from the renowned Clichy factory.  The weight features a polished pontile, and It is a true antique piece that has been carefully preserved with only normal ware and light surface scraches,it is in excellent condition with its original finish.
